Description: This tour begins with a 2.5 hour drive to Monteverde where we will first visit one of the most popular reserves in the area. You will enjoy a moderate level hike through the cloud forest while observing the largest number of orchids in the world, over 60 species of amphibians, including the extinct Monteverde-endemic golden toad, 91 species of migratory birds including the famed quetzal, which resides here seasonally and several species of mammals, such as monkeys, porcupine, dear, wild pigs and more. After the hike, we will visit the Selvatura Park, where you will enjoy a fantastic Costa Rica style lunch and then take a tour through the famous hanging bridges. Monteverde is definitely one of our most popular tours, as it incorporates a combination of adventure, nature and activities.
