Our 2026 rafting packages are designed for those who want more than just a tour. We provide seamless private transportation from your Jaco or Los Sueños villa, expert bilingual guides, and top-tier safety equipment. From the thunderous “washing machine” drops to the calm stretches of primary rainforest where you can spot monkeys and sloths, this is the definitive river adventure for your 2026 itinerary.
Rivers Featured: Savegre River (Class II-IV) and Naranjo River (Seasonal/Class III-IV).
Duration: Full-day or Half-day expeditions available (including travel time).
Logistics: Door-to-door private transfers from Jaco, Playa Hermosa, and Los Sueños.
Experience Level: No prior experience required; our safety briefings cover everything you need to know.
What’s Included: Professional rafting gear, riverside lunch (Full Day), tropical fruit snacks, and certified river guides.
Answer: The Savegre River is our most popular 2026 option as it offers a perfect mix of exciting Class II-III rapids and calm swimming holes, making it ideal for families and first-timers. For adrenaline seekers visiting during the Green Season (May–November), the Naranjo River offers a more intense, fast-paced Class IV experience.
Answer: We recommend wearing clothes that can get wet, such as a swimsuit, quick-dry shirt, and secure water shoes (no flip-flops). Don’t forget a change of dry clothes for the ride home, sunblock, and a towel. Your Jaco360 driver will keep your dry bags and personal items secure in the vehicle while you are on the water.
Answer: Safety is our absolute priority. For the Savegre River, the minimum age is generally 8 years old. For the more intense Naranjo River, the minimum age is 12-14 years old depending on water levels. Every guest is outfitted with high-buoyancy life jackets and international-standard helmets.
Answer: Yes! Rafting is the ultimate “Green Season” activity because you’re going to get wet anyway. In fact, rain often makes the rapids even more exciting. However, our guides monitor river levels in real-time; if water levels reach an unsafe “flood stage,” we will reschedule or provide a full refund.
