2. Can beginners or those without experience drive an ATV in Jaco?
Answer: Yes! Every tour we book starts with a safety briefing and practice laps on a private test track. Our vetted operators provide bilingual guides who ensure you are comfortable with the vehicle before heading out onto the jungle trails. For those who aren’t ready to drive, we offer Double ATV options so you can ride as a passenger while a partner or one of our professional guides handles the driving.
3. What are the requirements to drive or ride as a passenger?
Answer: To drive an ATV, you must be at least 18 years old and present a valid driver’s license along with a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) for the vehicle deposit. For passengers, the minimum age is 9 years old. As your booking agency, we handle all the paperwork verification ahead of time so your group can spend less time at the desk and more time on the trails.
4. Will I get muddy on the Jaco ATV tour?
Answer: Yes, expect to get dirty! Our trails go through river paths, dirt roads, and lush jungle terrain. In the “green season” (May–November), you can expect plenty of mud, while the “dry season” is dustier but equally thrilling. We highly recommend bringing a change of clothes and a towel.
